2025 IMOJ Soccer Ministry Overview
Pastor’s Conference 2024

Recap from 2024 Ministry and Teams
2024 began in February with a small medical team from West Virginia . They served in the Nanegalito area.
March- The first team from Samford University had a dual mission this year. They provided a soccer camp for the children of Nanegalito and spent time with the special needs families of the area. The other half of the team built a house for a family of 6 with 2 special needs children. This project was blessed by the purchase of land that will hold two houses and a church. At this time the present house hosts a church service each week of the community.
The second team in March was from Bayou City Fellowship in Texas. They continued the Seed Soccer vision by working in smaller areas of the Cloud Forest.
April and September brought the Pastor’s Conference held in Pedernales, Ecuador. This program began 5 years ago with a 7 year run. They have two weekly sessions a year. This program is IBAC and is Seminary school provided in South America. The Pedernales class has a total of 136 pastors and leaders. The plan is to continue the program after completion at the coast in Northern Ecuador areas of Catacochi and Otavalo.
July kicked off a busy summer. Week 1 was Reel Life from Birmingham. This group bonded with the smaller communities in the area with soccer, VBS and life skills in the Aloe Vera farms.
Week 2 A soccer camp with Bayou City Fellowship.
Week 3 was a medical team from Enterprise Baptist of North Carolina. They traveled to Pedernales to work with the Municipal health department and the local church to provide medical services and supplies. Over 1000 people were seen and 40 accepted Jesus as their savior.
Week 4-5 This medical team consisted of Physical Therapist, Speech Therapist , students and faculty from Samford University. They worked in various areas around Quito providing physical and spiritual needs of many underserved populations. They partnered with the local ministry in Ecuador to enable them to reach into communities that were difficult to reach.
November- Construction team from Enterprise Baptist in North carolina. This year the team completed both a house and a church. This was house number 6 for Enterprise and church number 1. Church number 2 is already on their radar. The house built in Santa Rosa is also serving as a house church for weekly services.
God is working in Ecuador and many are hearing the Gospel and accepting Jesus into hearts. Please continue to pray for our friends and family in Ecuador and pray about going to Ecuador to serve alongside the IMOJ family.
