Community Development Projects
In December of last year, our project manager, Charles Loleku, visited the villages where IMOJ has established wells and showed the Jesus film. Charles has begun to teach the people how to make healthy, fertile soil and grow small gardens for themselves using water from their wells. Maasai are herdsmen, not farmers, so this is a new development that the people are embracing. Along with the training in community development, Charles, a recent graduate of Orality Bible School, is also teaching the word of God. Please continue to pray for this ministry and for Charles, who is overwhelmed by the requests from Maasai leaders throughout the province to come and teach their people how to grow their own food as well. God has also blessed this once dry and barren land with incredible rain over the past few months.

Charles is training the Maasai in sustainable and reproducible gardening for food security and nutrition as IMOJ responds to crucial church and community needs. This is a natural christian response to hunger, providing mitigation strategies to grow and store food in preparation for coming seasons of drought.
Land Development

Local government leaders have given IMOJ land permits for the wells, the land surrounding the wells and for a 100 acre plot of land in the province. We are seeking God for wisdom on how to develop this land.
